Join your fellow teachers and students in practicing throughout the summer.  Open to all continuing students in PE 94 or PE 416.  No instruction, just practice including warm ups, taijiquan, qigong, meditation and Fan Boxing.  Don't let your practice go neglected!


Taiji and Qigong Student Graduation

Our annual recognition of students who've learned their set in taijiquan or qigong was a great success.  We congratulate these students for reaching this milestone!   Demonstrations of taiji, qigong, fan boxing and shaolin staff were followed by a short graduation ceremony and potluck brunch.  Check out the photos on the Photo Gallery page.

Fall Class Enrollment
Fall semester enrollment will take place this summer, starting in July.  Fall classes begin the week of August 25 and meet through mid-December.  Enroll on-line at the college's website at www.ivc.edu;  follow the links to register as a student, then enroll in classes you want.  Our taiji and qigong classes can be found under the college credit class listing Physical Education/Fitness as PE 94 Tai Chi and under the Emeritus Institute listing Physical Fitness/Movement as PE 416 Tai Chi or Qigong.  See the Classes & Events page of this website for a schedule of Taijiquan and Qigong classes.


Wen Wu School Retreat
August 28 - 31, 2008
This year's summer retreat marks the 35th Anniversary of Wen Wu School.  The retreat will be a special event to celebrate, held amonst the Redwood trees in the Santa Cruz Mountains, near Ben Lomond CA (closest airport is San Jose).  Join the Wen Wu family of students, Teachers and Masters for an intensive weekend of taijiquan, qigong, Chinese brush painting, calligraphy, and more!  Special guest this year is Dharma Master Shi Young Yao, a Shaolin monk.  Spend time with Master Y.C.
